Sarah Rosand

Chair

Sarah Rosand joined Only Make Believe as a volunteer in 2004, and joined the NYC Board of Directors in 2009. Upon relocating to Washington, DC in 2010, Sarah spearheaded the expansion of Only Make Believe in the DC metro area. She has a diverse marketing & business background in private and non-profit sectors, and received her B.A. in Psychology and Art History from Cornell University. Sarah resides in Washington, DC with her husband and 3 sons.

Mareesa Frederick

Mareesa Frederick is a Partner at Finnegan LLP, a law firm specializing in intellectual property. Mareesa's practice focuses on complex, high-stakes intellectual property litigation, with a particular emphasis on proceedings before the International Trade Commission (ITC).

She also has extensive experience counseling clients on pre-trial strategy, strategic licensing opportunities, and building patent portfolios. Mareesa has been an ardent supporter of Only Make Believe since 2018. She is a native Washingtonian and lives with her two children in Washington, DC.

Monica Spruill

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Monica (Lewis) Spruill to Only Make Believe’s National Board! Monica, a Senior Marketing Director at Accenture, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. As the Global Head of Marketing for Accenture's Strategy business, she is dedicated to helping companies achieve profitable growth through continuous reinvention. Additionally, Monica serves as the Global Head of Diversity, Development & Learning for Accenture Marketing + Communications, where she champions diversity and empowers professionals to excel in priority areas like Gen AI and data-driven decision making. Monica's impressive background of 25+ years, including her HBX Certificate of Strategy from Harvard University, MBA from Pace University's Lubin School of Business and BS in Marketing from Hampton University, makes her a valuable asset to our board. We are honored to have her join us in our mission to make a positive impact in the arts community.

Lisa Kanter

Lisa Kanter is a former Attorney at the U.S. Department of Education. Introduced to OMB by Sarah Rosand, she has been a committed supporter since 2012. She is thrilled that OMB is thriving in DC and continues to be dedicated to its mission. Lisa lives in Bethesda, MD with her family.

Robyn Bash

Robyn is the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy Operations at the American Hospital Association.
